My name is Chelsea Watson. I am a former dancer and sprinter for outdoor track and field, with nine years of experience in both disciplines. I have been involved in numerous youth advocacy groups and jobs and have worked with many non-profit organizations dedicated to improving black communities and securing better jobs for those in need. I have orchestrated various food, toy, and coat drives. I have a strong interest in math-related subjects and enjoy hands-on learning environments in the classroom. Outside of school, I like to write poems and coach youth sports. I want to pursue a major in neuroscience because I am fascinated by how the brain works and allows us to function. Beyond that, I am driven by an intense desire to heal those unjustly affected by violence and to restore their health and well-being, which is why I aspire to become a surgeon.
