I am an English, Global Health major. I designed my own concentration in global health: Language and Representation in Global Health in order to combine my two biggest passions, language and medicine. I am interested in attending graduate school for public health upon graduation where I plan on focusing on health disparities, representation in a local, global sphere, and community/culturally-grounded health interventions. I was a 2016 Lee D. Baker Scholar and conducted independent research entitled "The Power of Narrative in Alzheimer's Disease." I also enjoy traveling and have participated in three study abroad opportunities during her time at Duke. Other hobbies include running, painting, and attending concerts.
