I want to pursue a career in anesthesia, more specifically as a Nurse Anesthetist. The passion I hold for this career stemmed for me as a junior in high school. The CRNA demand has become higher in the last few years making it a secure job option as it is essential in many hospitals. As an empath I find pain management crucial especially while being in a healthcare facility. Along with this it allows for autonomy and big decision making while on the job. My future goals include hopefully obtaining a job as a CRNA at Duke hospital and maintaining a work-life balance.
