One hobby I'm super passionate about is dance. I've only been dancing for 4 years but it brings a lot of joy and clarity in my life. I'm trained in mostly hip hop but I also do some contemporary and modern. The reason I want my profession to be clinical psychology is because I want to offer counseling to black and LGBTQIA+ communities because the topic of seeing a therapist is so taboo and talked down upon that it fosters such a toxic environment where people feel like it's weak to talk about one's issues and how they might be affecting their mental health on a daily basis. I'm also interested in starting a nonprofit that gives free counseling to BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ kids living in inner city and low income communities.
